Explore one of the most misterious civilizations, Teotihuacan, city of the Gods! Learn more about who built Teotihuacan, walk through the Avenue of the Dead (calzada de los muertos), admire the Pyramid of the Sun (piramide del sol) and the Pyramid of the Moon (piramide de la luna), and have an unforgetable meal inside a cave (La Gruta). We know so much about Teotihuacan but not how Teotihuacans called it or how they called themselves!

There are few places in the world with towering rock columns like this. Their symmetry and height make an outstanding view as if they were splitting the earth, revealing a hidden river. Los Prismas Basálticos is a wonderful destination in the centre of Mexico, just a few hours’ drive north of Mexico City and near the Teotihuacan Pyramids.

Did you know that there is a town in Mexico that was strongly influenced by British mining activity? Culture, technology, football and even food were brought here many years ago. Real del Monte (Mineral del Monte) is one of the many places where Cornish miners migrated to venture into the deeps of the earth.

Santa Maria Regla Hacienda is an extraordinary place with a dark past, geological wonders, and connections to cinematic legends. From slavery to Humboldt’s iconic geological descriptions and the filming of “The Mask of Zorro”, Santa Maria Regla’s history will keep you in constant awe. Moreover, you can admire the natural marvel of the Prismas Basalticos (basalt columns) from the bottom of the canyon. Subscribe, like, and comment on your favourite part of this unforgettable journey!
