TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bookings
For all our trips, you book directly with us; we do not employ operators, and any issue should be dealt with through us. You will receive a full itinerary and a quote once you agree to your ideal tailored trip. Make sure to read the itinerary, understanding the time and physical demands of your travel.
Your trip will be tailored to the activities and places that you request. Your trip planning must be finalised within a month from the moment you select your trip dates; otherwise, the booking of your dates will be cancelled. During your trip planning, you need to book your flights and share this information with us to make an accurate budget and schedule.
Privacy Policy
All your personal data will be handled with confidentiality, will not be shared with third-party advertisers, and will be used for the purposes of your trip only. By booking with us, you consent that we use and store your personal data. We may need to share basic information with accommodation, transport, and activities providers, but it will be the minimum. We will never request access to any of your personal accounts by any means.
Deposit and payment
You need to pay a non-refundable deposit for your booking to be confirmed. The deposit consists of 10% of the total cost of your trip. Once the deposit is paid, we will issue a confirmation invoice, and a contract will exist between you and us from that moment. The remaining trip cost must be paid in full at least 60 days before the commencement of the travel unless stated otherwise; if not, your reservation will be cancelled. Special situations, like last-minute offers, could require full payment at the moment of confirmation, and they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation and amendments
Please notice that any changes, cancellations or amendments in your trip represent a high cost for us because we are tailoring the trip just for you, and we cannot allocate our time or resources to anyone else after your trip is confirmed.
Cancellations made by you
If you can no longer attend your trip and you notify us before the commencement of your trip
(a) 60 days before, 90% of your trip cost will be refunded,
(b) between 30 and 60 days before, we will refund you 70% of your trip cost,
(c) and 30 days or less, we will refund you 25% of your trip cost.
Note that the deposit is not refundable.
Change of trip dates made by you
If you want to change the dates for your trip, additional charges will be applied based on your total trip cost. If you notify us before the commencement of your trip,
(a) 60 days before, a 5% fee will be applied.
(b) between 30 and 60 days before, we will charge a 30% fee,
(c) 30 days or less before, we will charge a 75% fee.
Trip amendments made by you
We accept plan changes to your trip after the agreement of the itinerary and deposit payment. If a change represents additional planning, a fee of $60 will be charged per change plus whatever associated costs the change represents, including losing services upfront payments. We are as flexible as possible, but please consider that we cannot guarantee that all changes will be feasible.
1) If you skip a day trip or activity for any reason, we will try to reimburse you for unused services; however, we cannot guarantee this.
2) If you want to transfer your booking to a third party, it will be only permitted when operationally possible and when the transferee meets all the requirements for the activities planned. Some fees may apply; for example, if schedule changes are needed.
Cancellation made by us
In the unfortunate case of cancellation due to a “force majeure event” (extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, health emergencies, equipment breakdown, social disturbances or governmental enforcement) before or during your trip, you can get a refund or use that money as credit for another trip or for a trip reschedule, minus unrecoverable costs.
In the case of partial trip cancellation, an alternative will be suggested. If no options are available, we will try to refund you for the activities that were not done, whenever possible.
In the event of any cancellation, we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have, such as visas, medical attention, travel insurance, non-refundable flight, etc.
Trip amendments made by us
Itineraries may be subject to changes, including route, activities, accommodation and mode of transportation, due to local circumstances or events out of our control.
Whenever a change is needed, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternatives of the equivalent nature and value to discuss with you. If no options can be found, we will try to refund you for the activities not taking place whenever possible.
Age & Health requirements
Our trips have no age restrictions; however, if you are under 18 or travel with someone under 18, a guardian (older than 18) must be legally responsible for the total duration of your trip. The guardian will take care of the underage person(s) and ensure they will behave correctly and follow all directions by the guide or authorities.
If you have a health, mental or physiological condition that could influence your trip, or if you need assistance or regular medication, you must declare this during the booking of your trip, and we will tailor your trip with this in mind.
Choose your activities accordingly to your health and fitness; we cannot be responsible for unachievable activities due to this regard.
Passport and visas
It is your responsibility as a traveller to bring all required documentation to enter Mexico, including passport, visa (in needed), insurance and any other document required by the authorities. You will assume any consequences of failing to do so, such as missing flights, being detained in customs or missing the trip totally or partially, as well as any expenses incurred by us concerning your trip.
Travel insurance
None of our trips includes personal travel insurance; hence, we strongly recommend that you get full travel insurance covering all aspects of health, property, and third-party damages. We cannot be responsible for accident-derived costs during your trip that may affect you.
Authority on tour
You are required to comply with the laws, customs and regulations of the country and visited places. You may prefer to be accompanied by a guide during all or part of your trip. If you choose to have time on your own, we will assist you remotely if needed, but you will be responsible for yourself.
Your guides are knowledgeable of the place, customs, and laws; therefore, you must follow all safety instructions given by them. If you fail to follow their instructions, you will be responsible for any consequence, punitive or financial, and your guide has the right to exclude you or any of your travel companions from the rest of the trip with no right to refund. Your actions may also make you not eligible for future trips with us.
Acceptance of risk
When planning your trip, we will discuss with you any relevant risks that the activities may represent to the participants, and you can always ask us if you have questions. You acknowledge having read and agreed to the itinerary and activities presented, knowing their nature and potential risks to your health when confirming your trip.
Government and official information is constantly revised to decide if it is safe to undertake a trip and to further ensure your safety during the trip, you may be required to follow additional safety protocols.
If you decide to take additional or optional activities, we will inform you of potential risks, and it will be your responsibility. We will not allow any activities that we consider high or uncontrolled risk.
Claims & complaints
Please notify us of any complaints about the trip as soon as possible so that we can solve the issue. If you consider that your complaint was not addressed correctly, please explain it by email, and we will do our best to solve it in due time.
